ThumbUp Dynamic Extension Orthosis

The ThumbUp orthosis low profile and breathable, mesh pad design makes for comfortable daily wear while also preserving tactile function.  Its patent pending design provides dynamic thumb extension at both MCP and IP joints. It also has an optional Abduction Strap in the box that provides that hard to reproduce palmar abduction in a dynamic design that positions the thumb for pinch and grasp.  It is an orthosis that is easy to fit, don, and teach patients.   When combined with KnuckleUp orthoses (separately sized and available), it is a complete, low-profile solution for radial tunnel syndrome and easily wraps over a custom or pre-fabricated wrist support when needed.  Used alone, it is an excellent solution for isolated EPL tendon ruptures awaiting or forgoing repair or tendon transfer reconstruction.
