MalletUp™ Splint Set

The MalletUp™ Splint Set contains 4-Medium, 3-Small and Large, and 2-XSmall and X-Large splints in a rugged case that is wipeable and doesn’t crack when dropped. It serves as a great starter kit for a physician office, urgent care clinic/E.R., or therapy clinic that treats mallet digits. Individual patient education cards (one for each splint included) supplement provider education and provide care and precautions as well as a QR code link to helpful videos on how to apply and wear the splint. The included 14 MalletUps™ are unique up-tipped splints to support healing of the distal finger joint in extension or slight hyper-extension. It’s patent-pending design is open on the sides to accommodate swelling after injury/activity unlike circumferential mallet splints that can become uncomfortable and constrictive with digit swelling. The design also makes fitting easier with only 5 sizes (XS,S,M,L) to stock compared with up to 10 sizes (00,0,1,2,3,4,5,5.5,6,7) for circumferential mallet splints. The large, open-side design also reduces rubbing on adjacent digits for better hand function. The pad area has large openings to reduce buildup of moisture and to aid finger use. Additionally, the smooth contour over the cuticle area provides comfort. Rolls of adhesive perforated cotton tape are sold separately.
